Young Scientist Program
“BANG!” “Whoosh!” “Wow!” Science can be exciting at Lutheran Island Camp. Our Young Scientist Program uses science to better understand God’s creation and the universe that surrounds us. Brian Young teaches God’s word while helping participants see how the truth of science supports the facts of creation. Much of the programming will be done at the Creation-Science Environmental Learning Center at Christ Serve Ranch. Dates: Cost:$350

Christ Serve Ranch Servant Events
Come and help us build the first environmental learning center focused on science from a Christian perspective. Tasks will include building observation decks, docks, trails, tearing down old fences, putting up new corrals, demolishing old buildings, putting in signage and more.

Christ ServeSM Training Camp
Christ Serve Leadership Training provides youth with a unique opportunity to be trained in leadership skills, then put those skills into practice. Young people who would like to someday be on staff at Lutheran Island Camp should attend this program. We seek to identify, inspire, develop, and train young leaders for life-long service in the church and in their communities. Some of the program will be done in our Equine College and at Christ Serve Ranch.
Ages: 14 and older
Dates and Cost: June 8-13 (Friday through Wednesday) $150 and includes JC Training weekend cost.

Creation-Safari Camp at CSR:
The Voyageur Safari Camp will be a step or two more challenging than the Trailblazer version. God has given us a wonderful place to search for strange animals, neat plants, big fish, and lots of bugs. Campers will spend time building their own shelter, searching for animals from observation towers, fishing for various species of fish, and collecting and identifying species for the Christ Serve Ranch Book of Treasures, a collection of all species located on the property. This year our safari will take us to Christ Serve Ranch where we’ll be camping in tents or shelters we build ourselves. At the same time we’ll be taking a safari into God’s word to hunt dinosaurs, giant fish, exotic plants, and strange weather patterns. Rustic at CSR

Creation Photography and Art Join other photographers and artists who have a special desire to learn how to capture God’s magnificent creation through their art. Led by a professional photographer, you’ll see nature as it gives birth, blooms, takes to the sky, and brings forth beauty. Adults come in for a weekend, youth arrive on Tuesday and stay through the next Sunday.
